The vineyards of Chateau Burgozone are situated at a distance of 180 km from Sofia, on the steep slope of the Southern bank of the Danube River. The unique teroir- relatively warm climate, altitude and Carbonate black soil provide excellent conditions for grape growing and contribute for the production of high- quality white and red wines. With its vineyards of 100 hectares, Chateau Burgozone is a good example of skilful combination of wine traditions with modern world''s winegrowing practices.The two series of the winery- Château Burgozone and Côte de Danube are exported to Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Canada and have won medals at prestigious competitions in Brussels, Belgium, Mundus Vini in Germany, Decanter World Wine Awards 2011 in London, UK, China Wine Awards 2011. The wine brands include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Syrah,Marselan / mixture between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache
