BODEGAS MEDINA was founded in 1931 by a traditional winemakers family and is one of the few wineries of Extremadura (SPAIN) which elaborates, ages, and bottles high quality wines since long time ago, under the Denomination of Origin “Ribera del Guadiana” and also “The Land of Extremadura Wines”. Wines obtained from its own vineyards of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Merlot, Syrah, Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonay and local varieties like Ciguentes The particular climatological characteristics of the area, together with a very good skills of the family, who expertly cultivate and carefully treat the grapes during the harvest, elaborating process and finally aging the wine with the best humidity and temperature conditions, gives a result in to the most prestigious and finest wines, like our most famous brand JALOCO, renowned over the world. These values have been recognized and therefore some of our wines have been awarded in many contests.
