Barbi winery was established in 1932 producing fine wines in Umbria. A genuine passion for viticulture has aided our strict clonal selection in the vineyards, and the skill acquired over many years of commitment has made possible the production of quality wines, of which 85% are sold through the on-trade channels in over 30 different countries. Our range is based mainly on indigenous varietals from central Italy (Grechetto, Sangiovese grosso, Montepulciano, Canaiolo...) The several awards received by the most important press organs (Gambero Rosso, Nick Belfridge, Burton Anderson, Hugh Johnson, Jens Priewe...) are proof of our focus on quality products while maintaining an accessible price.
