Quinta Nova is a Portuguese family owned group, Amorim group, dated from 1870, more famous for the production of cork stoppers and today with several businesses like finance, real state among others, we started to be in the wine business in 1999. Since June 2005, Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo became an independent in the market and it´s located on the best wine site of the Douro Valley. Our 85 hectares of letter A vineyards have an excellent sun exposure along 1.5 km of the northern bank of the River Douro, producing some of the highest quality red grapes in the region. Actually we are offering a range of twelve wines, divided in three brands - Quinta Nova, Grainha and Pomares -, of DOC Douro and Ports. Our goal is to promote classical wines, respecting the terroir but following the market trends.
