Lowlands is the new wine brand of the Holdaway family-owned and operated company with 30 years’ grape growing experience in the Dillons Point and Lower Wairau areas of Marlborough, New Zealand. The company has five vineyards covering 142ha, and supplies premium sauvignon blanc, pinot noir and chardonnay grapes. All vineyards are accredited to Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. Lowlands Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010 was our first example of branded wine which we successfully marketed through a New Zealand internet outlet. We won a Pure Elite Gold medal at the AirNZ wine awards with this wine. We are looking for export opportunities for our Lowlands brand to develop this side of our business.
