The vineyard is set amid the microclimate of S. Mamede hills. The forty hectares of vine are planted on the top of a hill. The soil is mostly shale. The main type of grape culivated are traditional in the region: Trincaderia, Aragones and Alicante Bouchet There are four different wines produced that represent the three latest generations in the family:GLORIA REYNOLDS, JULIAN REYNOLDS, CARLOS REYNOLDS, all of them are aged in barrel at least for a year. Also the winery produces a young wine branded as TINTO REAL. The GLORIA REYNOLDS is only produced in those years when wine harvest is excellent, and it is sold exclusively through the Gloria Reynolds Club. The vineyard dates back to 1850, and we have been making wine ever since. We are in the market through out Europe and are wanting to expand further into the United States. We are presently placed in Florida, Utah and Illinois; we are looking for more states to place our great Portuguese wines.
