Château Pamidovo was established in 1996. It is situated in Bulgaria, in the Upper Thrace region. This region is well known for its century-old tradition handed down from the ancient Thracians in mastership of cultivation and selection of local sort of winy vineyards – Pamid and Mavrud – and wine production. Nowadays Chateau Pamidovo holds 1600 decares own vineyards from which the following sorts are being cultivated:
Red sorts – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Mavrud, Pamid, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Marselan;
White sorts – Muscat, Alexandrian Muscat, Chardonnay, Viognier.
