Tenuta Zicari wants what Puglia wants: that is to be at its level in the world.This is the reason why our estate,located in the heart of the famous producing area of Taranto,with its 200 hectares of soil, bases essentially its lands conduction in Manduria D.O.C. zone and wine process with a particular attention in the selection of grapes. In our estate we had analysed geographic and climatic situation before planting each hectare, and the soil more suitable for every vine. The conclusion of this “zonazione”, or the scientific progress due to cistercensi monks of XII century Borgogna, has been for our estate the choice that permitted us to become, through time, a modern, functional company but always respecting the traditions. The choice of the wines to plant, could be Primitivo, Negramaro and other native wines or international, is fully based on these studies.
