The vineyards of Tenuta Montereale are close to the stony banks of river Cellina and surrounded by the huge Alps. In this natural landscape, the soil called magredo is the centre of the area DOC Friuli Grave and it is the typical stony and gritty land which needs hard work and dedication. This severe soil is full of minerals and gentle aromas which nurture our 90 hectares of vineyards and make our red and white wines very strong and robust. For more than forty years, in the wine cellar, only the best grapes are selected to produce wines which are intense and robust. All our wines can be tasted and bought in our store in Montereale Valcellina, Italy. It is also possible to book guiding tours of our vineyards and wine cellar and to book wine tastings with typical appetizers of the area.
