Bodega Tupun is owned by the Pelegrina Family, traditional family of Spanish Inmigrants who have been envolved in the wine industry in the Valley of Tupungato since 1950, Mendoza Argentina. With more than 250 hectars planted with vines located in the best wine growing regions of Mendoza, Argentina. The winery has a capacity of 1.500.000 liters in tanks and american and french oak barrels and the wines are focused to the middle and high segment under the brands Tupun, Tupun Reserve, Vulcano.
Awards: Tupun Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast. Tupun Malbec 2008 and Tupun Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 87 points and Tupun Reserva Malbec 2007 88 points in Wine Spectator and also elected Top Value W.S. On november 2010 we also received from Robert Parker, 90 points for our Tupun Malbec 2008 and 89 points for Tupun Torrontés 2009.
