With a tradition of four decades (the winery was established in 1969) of producing high qualities wines as Bordeaux style blends (Gold Medal winning Limited Reserve Port), Italian varietals and handcrafted sherry wines (in one of the only remaining outdoor Soleras in the United States), Mount Palomar has been a pioneer in Temecula Wine Country. The winery and 45 acres of Mediterranean Vineyards are situated on 315 acres from which 136.5 acres are citrus orchards. The future development plans include extensive new vineyard plantings (157.5 acres of vines) along with a larger wine production facility; a new guest facility including a wine country resort and spa with a 250 rooms hotel and 12 casitas; a wedding pavilion; restaurants; a Tuscany style shopping village and a residential gated community with one-acre lots and beautiful views.
