Bedell Cellars has been family owned and sustainably farmed winery since 1980. Kip and Susan Bedell were among the first to plant grapevines on the North Fork of Long Island. In 2000, Bedell was sold to the Lynne Family to continue Bedell’s tradition of crafting world-class wines. Michael Lynne, bought Bedell Cellars along with two nearby vineyards totaling over 80 planted acres, all of which have been sustainably farmed for the past 30 years. Today, working with Long Island veteran winemaker Richard Olsen-Harbich (who literally wrote the AVAs for Long Island), Bedell is best known for a series of innovative blends called Taste, Gallery, and Musée.
