Rancho El Tinieblo has a reputation since 1865 for producing mezcal wine crafted with wild agaves born in their own land, plateau formed by sand and calichoso fights that give flavor to the juice of the maguey.
Today El Tinieblo has a Mezcal Room in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, an entertainment complex on three levels in the heart of the Barrio Antiguo (Monterrey) called Mezcalerias El Tinieblo, a mezcal museum and an ecological reserve in Jimenez, Tamaulipas, place of origin of this mezcal.
The production line is made up of three types of mezcal; Silver, Gold and Aged. Also, mezcal creams are produced with mezcal in 5 different flavors; Coco Paraiso, conquest of Maple, Heart of Walnut, Piña Colada and golden brown.
