Our winery, founded in the early sixties by Dorino Livon, father of Valneo and Tonino, the present owners, has slowly, but steadily, grown, to reach the size of over 210 hectares in total. The wineries owned and run by the Livon family are 5, in three Italian regions: Friuli ( Livon and Tenuta RoncAlto in the Doc Collio area; Villa Chiopris in the Doc Friuli Grave ), Tuscany ( Borgo Salcetino, in the Docg Chianti Classico ) and Umbria ( Fattoria ColSanto, in the Docg Montefalco ). Our aim is producing quality wines in the best growing areas of three of the most significant Italian wine-regions. Many of our wines have been awarded, receiving high recognition and points by the most important tasting committees such as “Gambero Rosso - Guide To Italian Wines”, “Wine Spectator”, “Parker”, “Sommelliers Association” and many more.
