Château Trimoulet is a Grand Cru from Saint Emilion, France, with a limited production of approximately 70,000 bottles of red wine over 16 hectares. The vineyard has been in the JEAN family for over 200 years and the tenth generation is now overseeing its development. The vineyard is 25 years old on average and planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet. The underlying philosophy behind wines produced by Château Trimoulet is highly traditional and aims to extract the quintessence of its complex terroir – composed of 3 different types of soils – to produce a unique, structured, yet aromatic and delicate wines, whilst perpetuating a strong family heritage. Wines from Château Trimoulet can be kept 7 to 15 years on average, have received numerous awards in wine contests worldwide and are sold throughout Europe and in the United States. Château Trimoulet produces a second wine, Emilius de Trimoulet, targeting a clientele wishing to enjoy a fruity and more feminine wine within 3 to 5 years.
