Is a Wine cellar called Tenoira Gayoso in El Bierzo, in the northeast of Castilla y León. Our wine cellar is an small family enterprise which was set up only seven years ago to try to improve the Mencía grape and be able one day to make excellent white and red wines. OUr young wine Tenoira 2007 won the gold medal at the second edition of the International contest of wines from the Northeast of Spain, hold in Ponferrada . It also got an excellent quality-price ratio qualification in the Peñin Guide.This year we are launching our Tenoira roble , which has been aging in new French oak barrels for 7 months. We farm our vineyard biodynamically and all work is done manually.
