The family is one of the early pioneers in the modern American artisan distillery movement, handcrafting artisan wines, spirits (all categories), ports, aperitifs and liqueurs. Continuing their lineage of 12 generations, they began distilling in California under the Charbay name in 1983 and haven''t stopped since then.
