Stone Castle vineyard and winery is the largest winery in Kosovo and one of the biggest in the Balkan region. The company owns 2240 ha of land, a large proportion planted to vines. . Uniquely, there is also underground a wine cellar with storage capacity of 50,000 Hl in wooden barrels. The Company was founded in 1953, as a result of continual development of viticulture in the Rahoveci Valley. From 1957 onwards, the Company was part of the international wine market, and since 1980 approximately 32 million liters has been exported to Germany in yearly base. In Germany our common brand with the German partner is amselfelder-founded in year 1962 which in years 1980''s was the best sold brand as one brand. From the wines we have white varieties: Chardonnay, Riesling, Semillon, form The red Grapes we have varieties: Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Vranac (regional brand).
