ASTEK, one of Costa Rica’s most prestigious companies, and for over thirty-five years a renown Costa Rican producer and exporter of food flavoring additives and wholesome fragrances for the perfume industry, has recently developed a division to produce a variety of exotic concentrated flavorings (about 45% average alcohol content, varying according to flavors) for the liquor industry, such as Coffee, Coffee-Caramel, Coffee-Strawberry, Coffee-Chocolate, Coffee-Irish Cream, Coffee-Vanilla Walnut Cream, Coffee-Hazelnut Cream and Coffee-Tiramisu. The buyer would have to add its own liquor (Vodka at 30% alcohol content) to come up with a final product that will have a resulting alcohol content from 11% to 13%.
Our plans are to find well-known, prestigious American liquor producers, to import our liquor flavoring products, thus taking advantage of the benefits provided by the US/Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), such as an important reduction of import duties.
