Hazendal Wine Estate is a family owned and managed boutique winery which produces exclusively estate grown wines.Hazendal is 300 years old and lies in the famous Stellenbosch wine region of the Western Cape.The vineyards are a combination of old bushvines (30yrs old) and trellised more recent vines (15 yrs old).The estate has 65 ha under vine and grows white and red varieties (70:30). Winemaker Ronell has won numerous local and international awards for her Hazendal range,such as the Diner''s Club Winemaker of the Year Award & the Michelangelo Awards.Ronell has trained at Chateau Lafite and the elegant style of winemaking that she has learned in France can be found in the Hazendal range.The family ownership and governance ensures best quality and service.Hazendal currently exports to 13 different countries.
