Located on the Mediterranean coast, in the South of France, Domaine Montrose was built in 1701. Since then, Montrose has remained family owned. Today Bernard Coste is in charge of the estate with his son Olivier to take over after him.
Domaine Montrose enjoys mediterrannean climate granting the estate with great terroir. There are differents types of soil on the 65 hectares (160 acres)of vineyard located around the facilities: volcanic, chalky-clay, silicious-clay. These differents soils allow us to grow many kind of grapes varieties:
Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carignan,Chardonnay, Viognier, white Grenache, Muscat.
Domaine Montrose is producing a great range of wines in rose, white and red. The first wines are easy drinking wines with suppleness and fruity taste.
The Lézards and Salamandre range représents concentrated and complex wines, always well-balanced.
85% of the production is sold in bottles abroad: Europe, North America, Asia.
