Founded in 1921 by a group of growers with a deep sense of
attachment to their land and vines, the House of Collet
expanded rapidly in the early 1950s and has continued to do so
ever since.
Now a well-established firm of the celebrated “grand cru” area of
Aÿ,Collet sources its grapes from almost 650 hectares
(1,600 acres) of vineyards planted in the Champagne region’s best
“cru” villages, where the three great varieties of the area are grown
- Chardonnay (the purveyor of excellence, finesse and elegance),
Pinot Noir (the symbol of structure and fullness), and Pinot
Meunier (the enhancer of freshness and fruitiness).
For decades now, Collet champagnes have matured in dark,
centuries-old cellars dug right out of the surrounding chalk,
enabling the wines to achieve a maturity and perfection that can be
