Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, My name is Karim Hwaidak. I am the founder of Sahara Vineyards, an Egyptian wine producer only recently established with the aim to add Egyptian wines to the international wine lists. What may sound like an adventure – growing vines in the Egyptian desert – has proved to be a great success. The first results of this pioneer undertaking are now available: The Caspar Viognier, Caspar Chenin Blanc and Caspar Blanc de Noirs which are named after my son. The Nermine Syrah-Carignan-Grenache which is named after my daughter will be available in April. I would be happy to introduce these wines to you.
