The vineyards were planted in the early 1990''s by Robert Mondavi.There are 350 acres acres planted to Petite Sirah Hermitage, Zinfandel, Merlot, Cinsault, Grenache, Viognier, Mourvedre and Carignane. Iron Diamond Vineyards are located on Windcrest Farm, owned by the Ford Family of Lodi, Carole Ann & Don.
