Sapporo U.S.A., Inc. opened in New York in July, 1984. Despite our relative “youth,” Sapporo has established itself as the most popular Japanese beer imported into the U.S.
Our three brands represent a brewing tradition that dates back to 1876. Sapporo Draft has been a perennial favorite from the beginning. Yebisu, a super premium lager first brewed in 1887, was introduced to the U.S. market in 1996. Our latest offering, Sapporo Reserve, comes in a distinctive gold can, and is brewed twice as long as other lagers. Today, Sapporo U.S.A. has a major presence on both coasts, with offices in Los Angeles and New York.
