At the very heart of Lebanon lies the Bekaa valley, home of Chateau Kefraya's vineyards, which line the steep terraces of Mount Barouk, 20kms south of the city of Chtaura. In the early 1950s 300 hectars of vine were planted on a panoramic site that rises from 950 to 1100m. Its chalky, stony soil and six-month dry and sunny season produce perfect conditions for the creation of wines of great character. Here thrives our selection of the best French Mediterranean vines,. Built at the very center of our domain, the cellars of Chateau Kefraya are fitted with highly sophisticated equipment for the careful handling of our selected hand picked grapes.
