Located in Loreto Aprutino (Pescara), at the foot of the Gran Sasso, Central Italy’s tallest peak, TALAMONTI was born in 2001 by combining 3 key elements: enological tradition, state-of-the-art technology, and an immense passion for growing grapes and winemaking.
TALAMONTI focuses on the region’s noble varietals, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo with the sole objective of producing world class wines. In addition, the winery has planted internationally acclaimed varietals: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Select parcels have also been assigned for experimental purposes to Pecorino and Passerina, promising native varietals.
Particular emphasis is made to the barrel ageing in Slovenian oak and French barrique, which permits a gradual and harmonious fusion of fragrances and aromas that exalt the complexity and elegance of TALAMONTI wines
