In Extremadura, in the villages of Puebla de Sancho Pérez and Zafra, you can find BODEGAS MEDINA; in this area, Matanegra vines were already cultivated in the times of the Roman Empire, a tradition that lasts up to our days. BODEGAS MEDINA, a family owned company since 1931, led by the fourth generation, promotes and improves the results into extraordinary wines. We have a Crianza wine cellar located in Zafra, a building from the XVI century; after the tour through different sections of the winery, our visitors can taste our broths surrounded by a climate of calmness and pleasure. The use of new technologies in wine elaboration have created new wines with a genuine character that arises from a slow ageing process. This entrepreneurial spirit has originated a new range of wines which improve the excellent quality and presentation which have always characterised BODEGAS MEDINA
