Beelgara Estate was established in 2001 after a buy out of the 70 year old family owned winery, Rossetto Wines. With a 12 000 tone crush and 11 million litre storage capacity Beelgara Estate sources the majority of its fruit from approximately 40 local vineyards throughout the Riverina, the largest wine grape producing region in New South Wales. The Riverina accounts for 60% of the total New South Wales grape intake and 18% of Australia’s. Ten of the top eleven largest Australian wine producers source fruit and wine from this region. The aim to produce wine styles with typical Australian fresh fruit driven characters that over deliver in product quality, price and packaging has been at the fore and a move from the production of bulk to premium branded wine has escalated Beelgara Estate’s opportunities both domestically and overseas. Strong working relationships with core customers have ensured strong growth in both sectors.
