In 1999 New Glory P/L established 37.69 ha of vineyard in the Echuca district of Victoria renown for premium wines since 1865. By August 2003 a 2000 tonne winery facility was constructed. Well know industry identity Don Buchanan has been appointed as Chief winemaker and manager in Dec 2004. The business has been rebranded with a new contemporary image; Hopwood, the wines have been upgraded with additions to the range. The entry level wine range is the Charlotte's Farm label with 2004 Verdelho, 2005 Chardonnay, 2004 Sangiovese, 2004 Shiraz and 2004 Cabernet at a recommended retail price of $15aud, Premium level is the Single Vineyard label with 2005 Wooded Chardonnay, 2004 Petite Syrah, 2004 Petit Verdot, 2004 SMPV (Shiraz based blend, 2004 CPVM(cabernet based blend) at a recommended retail price of $19aud.
