Bodega Alavesas is an estate that meticulously cares for its vines. We care as much for the vines themselves as we do for the wine making process. The estate is predisposed and open to current techniques and new technology that can improve the quality of the final product. One of the main characteristics of the estate is the selection of grape varieties that should be planted. Varieties are chosen according to their capacity to give structure and ageing potential to the wines. All new plantings are always taken from selected cuttings from the vineyards, in order to obtain clones, which will bring quality. Green harvesting and canopy management are carried out to ensure a low yield and the best quality fruit. After having visited the vineyards and once the desired ripeness of the grape has been reached, the Bodega decides when the harvest should take place.
