Our winery is owned by the De Martino Family, immediate descendants of the same family arrived from Italy two generations ago. We are one of Chile's up-and-coming vineyards, administrated under the caring eyes of family members whose singular objective is striving to improve the quality of wines. Our wines are presently on the shelves in all of world’s mayor markets. We are undisputable the highest awarded Chilean winery of the moment, the company got most mentions of all Chilean wineries in the latest Chilean Wine Guide 2004 and 2005 (the leading wine competition in Chile) and was awarded the Trophy for Best Red Wine of the Year and most gold medals (3) of any Chilean winery in the London Wine Challenge 2001 and 2003 respectively. Due to the consistency of outstanding quality wines, Marcelo Retamal our Chief Winemaker for ten years was chosen the Winemaker of the Year 2004 for the Chilean Wine Guide and Association of Gastronomic and Enology Writers.
