Horizon Wine & Spirits - Kentucky was established on June 1st of 2002 when Thomas Bernard purchased The Brown-Kaiser Company. Brown-Kaiser is steeped in the history of the wine and spirits industry in Kentucky. Besides being a second generation distributor, at one time Brown-Kaiser Bourbon was one of the largest spirits brands in the state. Over its recent past, the company fell victim to the industry trends of conolidation and was reduced to a small wine distributor. Today, revitalized by the resources of Horizon Wine & Spirits, the company is positioned for growth. We are excited about the opportunities that lay before us and are committed to being effective competitors in the Kentucky market. Horizon Wine & Spirits looks forward to creating its own history in the years ahead as it builds its share of market in Kentucky's wine and spirits distribution industry.
