Since 1971, the Cellar “El Villar” following the motto evolution, no revolution remains in a constant process of adaptation to the new times and tastes. Throughout our life, during all these years, we have continued growing and keeping up with the new trends making a renovation in our vineyards by means of restructuring plans, changing the old glass-protected wines to new point-irrigated espalier planting with recognized varieties such as Tempranillo and Grenache, without neglecting, of course, from our traditional and local parietals such as Pedro Ximenez, Macabeo,Bobal, Merseguera and Tintorera. Our bodega nowadays owns 1975 hectares. All our vineyards are in an altitude superior to 400 m.over the sea level . Fact that along with our Mediterranean Climatology, and our ground, of sandy frank texture, determines and instils the intense and sophisticated personalities of all our wines. Our mission is to work hard in order to let the world enjoy our wines.
