Mastroberardino is a premium wine company established in 1878 in Atripalda (Italy) - whose mission is to produce and bottle typical grape varieties of Campania ( south italian region, the sole to province having 3 DOCG awarded ) : Greco di Tufo DOCG, Fiano di Avellino DOCG and Radici Taurasi DOCG are all expression of the tradition and culture of our terroir.
Just a comment on the fact that as reward for the role that Mastroberardino has played for the wine in Italy, the Sopraintendenza Archeologica of Pompei has licensed to ourselves the soil inside the Pompei ruin for recovering the grape varieties at the time the Romans grew for making their wine under the Vesuvius. The first crop has resulted in the Villa dei Misteri wine of Mastroberardino sold to the public through an auction, whose amount has been devolved for financing other work ruin in the archeological site of Pompei
