To be distinguished among thousands of samples, to face the old continent and the new world products and to please an international jury that strictly evaluates the product quality is a victory for a few. Peterlongo counts on a rich history, full of remarkable and pioneer facts to the viticulture and wine-growing in Brazil. It produced, in 1915, the first champagne made in Brazil and possibly in the South America. In 1930, in Belgium, Peterlongo was awarded its first gold medal for its CHAMPAGNE BRUT PETERLONGO. In that time, the most wineries in our country were just producing table wines. In 1942, Peterlongo was the first winery to export to the American chain Macy’s.
