Universal Wine was founded in April 1994 by Kurt Dewaele. It specialises in the direct import of New World Wines. We have 4.000 private customers on the mailing list. We also supply about 300 local restaurants and 100 independent retailers nation-wide. The MAIN OBJECTIVE of Universal Wine is to SELL WINE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SUPERMARKETS! Most of the wines that we offer are imported exclusively to Belgium. Present sales are over 17,000 cases per year. We look forward to increasing our portfolio whilst at the same time concentrating on good customer service. Costs are kept low to keep the margins competitive !
