In the early 1990's Jim LaCrosse recognized that to continue to grow, NWS would need to become a multi-state operation. In 1992 he purchased Union Liquor Company in Chicago. The Illinois organization grew rapidly and today has nearly a third of the market share and revenues of over $160 million today.
