Chateau de La Ligne is a revived vineyard immersed in a fascinating history of Nobility,Knight,Hospitallers,Crusades and renowed wine families.
Cheteau de La Ligne is located in Lignande Bordeaux, a village of 700 inhabitants on what is locally known as the right bank of Bordeaux. In the heart of the Bordeaux & Entre Deux Mers appellations, Lignan lies 16km east-southest of Bordeaux towards the medieval town of St Emilion and on the famous pilgrim route to Compostella. The chateau was purchased by Belfast man Terry Cross on St Patricks day 2000, the re-birth/re-invention of this wine is truly an amazing story.
