Starting up in 2004 by Jay Holata and his wife Kerstin, Great Southern Harvest provides a unique perspective on exporting wines to the United States in that Jay hails from Chicago, Illinois and Kerstin grew up in Adelaide and spent most of her adult life in Adelaide, Germany and the United States. The Great Southern Harvest wine portfolio is growing on a regular basis with a focus for 2004 on fine South Australia wine producers that are not currently exporting to the United States.
