The Poli Distillery is a century-old distillery solely owned and operated by the Poli family. It has been founded in 1898 in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of Veneto, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Bassano is considered the chief town in Italy for Grappa production; in this unique atmosphere the Poli family has specialized the art of distillation of the finest Grappas and distillates for four generations. The antique copper still (one of only a few left in Italy) is composed of steam cauldrons functioning at intermittent cycles. The distillation of Grappa is only done during the grape harvest from the middle of September to the beginning of November. In Bassano del Grappa, in front of the historic wooden bridge “Ponte Vecchio”, the Poli Distillery invites you to visit the Poli Grappa Museum.
