About the winery:
Mastroeni is a family-owned winery, which is managed by José Mastroeni, his wife, his 4 children (2 daughters and 2 sons) and 35 local workers.
Jose Mastroeni began making wine in the 1960s and artisian wines in the early 1970s. The red varieties we produce are: Award winning Malbec (Silver Medal 2001 & 2003 at the Vinandino contest), Cabernet Sauvignon, Shyrah, Merlot and Tempranillo. The white varieties are: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Trebbiano.
Our 45 year old traditional Winery has earned a reputation for its commitment to making only high quality wines. However our pledge to excellence begins in the vineyards; which are located in the most privileged viticulture region in Argentina, the so-called Primera Zona , in Luján de Cuyo where we grow all of the wine varieties we make. We grow 300 hectares (677 acres) of vineyards.
