The company was organized to import wines from the Southern Hemisphere & Europe for National Distribution and to distribute wine to both on-premise & off-premise clients in North Carolina. Grape Expectations was founded in 1999 while working towards a Master of Wine designation. I have furthered my wine studies at the Culinary Institute in St. Helena, California and via the Master Sommelier Program through Doug Frost, M.S. and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Program in New York City, obtaining the Higher Certificate for the Master of Wine. It has been my personal mission to bring new and exciting wines and flavor profiles to the USA that offer great quality and value to the consumer. Our 20,000 square feet of temperature-controlled storage maintains our wines at the optimal temperature and humidity so that you can be assured of its quality
