Penley Estate’s 166 Ha estate is situated in Australia’s famous Cabernet Sauvignon district, Coonawarra. Currently 110 hectares are under vine. The vineyard is established on limestone covered by the famous “terra rossa” soil of the Coonawarra.
Kym Tolley uses a blend of modern and traditional winemaking techniques to produce a range of wines including Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, Special Select Shiraz, Shiraz Cabernet, Hyland Shiraz, Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Over The Moon Rose and Vintage Sparkling Pinot Noir/Chardonnay.
In the 20 years since Penley Estate was established we have won a total collection of 44 trophies, 19 trophy nominations, 132 Gold medals, 201 Silver and 425 Bronze medals from both Australian and International wine shows.
