Ian and Sue Mader both have extensive experience in the wine industry. Ian as a fifth generation Barossan vigneron while Sue has been involved in various roles including sales, public relations and tourism. After careful consideration Ian and Sue decided to take the step from grape growers to producers under the VineCrest label The Fine Barossa Wine that forms part of the registered VineCrest name is the direction of the winery as it focuses on producing quality wines of unique character and style from their own vineyards. The winery has been awarded numerous awards for their wines and in moving forward always look to retain their boutique family owned base. Currently Shiraz (including a bottle fermented sparkling shiraz)Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon, Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc, and Late Harvest make up the portfolio of wines - with the intention of including some further blends as part of future releases www.vinecrest.com.au
