Situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Monferrato in Piedmont Italy, Noceto Michelotti is a small winery with a difference. Our winery is in the unique position of having integrated vineyards, an ultra modern cellar with temperature controlled ageing facilities and modern bottling and labelling equipment on the estate. We are consequently able to carefully quality control the complete wine making process, ensuring that we are able to consistently create the highest quality single estate wines. We work closely with our customers throughout the commercial process, in combination with our Integrated Customer Partnership Programme (ICPP), to ensure successful sell through.

We have adopted a farm philosophy of high density and low yield and accordingly we have 6000 vines per hectare which are trained in the 'guyot' style. Our mature Barbera vines are around 35 years old and our Chardonnay vines are 20 years old. Advanced technology and developments now allows us to select specific Barbera vine clones to fit energy zones and soil composition in our new growth areas thus ensuring that grape quality is optimised

Noceto Michelotti has a dedicated and professional management team who are passionate about creating wines of outstanding quality at an excellent price. The winery is personally managed by Graham and Margret Kresfelder and our general manager Giovanni Conte. Renowned agronomist Frederico Curtaz meticulously oversees the technical management of the vineyard and internationally acclaimed oenologist Giuseppe Caviola and our wine maker Giacomo Mariotti carefully monitor our modern cellar.

It is rare to find a small single estate winery where the complete production cycle is professionally managed by a dedicated, skilled and passionate team. It is the perfect combination of well-proven traditional techniques whilst making use of ultra modern production facilities.

With this philosophy we consistently produce the highest quality single estate wines offering our customers the opportunity to purchase premium quality regional varietals at excellent value for money prices and with comprehensive customer support through our Integrated Customer Partnership Programme.

All of our vines carry the prestigious "deonominazione origine controllata" or "DOC" classification, and we always harvest less quantity that decreed each year by the DOC controlling body to ensure that we produce only the very best quality wines.
