The Barwick group recognised the qualities of three viticultural regions in the South West of Western Australia: Margaret River, Pemberton and Blackwood Valley. Barwick Estates was established to realise the strengths of this diversity, to provide quality wines from three premium wine regions, either as regional wines or enhanced blends in a style that has timeless qualities added to the statements of fruit of the south-west of Western Australia. Each region has been planted with varieties that ideally suit the terroir. Producing from over 200 hectares of vineyard, vintage 2005 will see Barwick Estates produce over 1,100,000 litres of premium wine for export and domestic markets from its state-of-the-art winery at Margaret River.
