The company was established in September 1990. Thanks to co-operation with Italian partners, who provided us with advanced equipment, technical support as well as know-how, we started our first wine manufacture. We introduced new techniques of sales and marketing, planning and production. We developed the factory and warehouses, and bought a new production line. As a result, in 1994 already 18 million bottles of drinks were delivered to the market from our factory In 1995 the company Faber (currently SSW) became the shareholder of AMBRA. This agreement opened the way to renowned European suppliers and to modern equipment. Today we can take pride in being the most modern wine factory in the country, the only one that on a large scale runs the manufacture of sparkling wines with the method of, so called, double fermentation. AMBRA’s offer includes sparkling wines, table wines, vermouths, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
