For 6 generations the Viennet Family has produced wines in the 17th Century cellars of Puech Cocut. Located just outside of Beziers in the heart of the Languedoc region, the vineyards of Chateau de Raissac consist of 96 Hectares planted with 11 grape varieties. Two thirds of the estate is planted with red grapes principally Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The remaining third is planted with white grapes principally Chardonnay and Viognier. Using traditional vinification methods and modern winery equipment, Chateau de Raissac annually produces approximately 600,000 bottles and assures a quality wine through complete control of the growing, vinification and bottling process. Chateau de Raissac currently distributes to numerous countries in Europe, North America and in Asia and is looking to further its sales in these markets and other developing markets.
