In the heart of the high Marca Trevigiana - in the Veneto region - an ideal area for vine cultivation, where very good wines are made, there is the village of Refrontolo - 45 km north of Venice - 200 m above sea level -. Here on a sunny valley looking towards south, on a small estate is present, since 1964, the farm of Vincenzo Toffoli.
Since young Vincenzo has always worked in the vineyards and in the wineries where he learned the skilful art of making wines. When he bought the land he finally realised his dream of making his own wines and slowly his efforts have been recognised with the many awards received for the quality of the products.
The wines produced are: of the white wines the Prosecco D.O.C., frizzante and spumante, and the Verdiso IGT; of the red wines there is the Colli di Conegliano D.O.C. - Refrontolo Passito - a lovely sweet desert wine made with Marzemino grapes, and then Amaranto dei Vanai a grape mixture of Marzemino, Merlot and Cabernet.
